About

Andrew MacCallum is a  freelance figurative sculptor based in the UK and studied at Stafford College under MIke Talbot, a Fellow of the Royal Society  of British Sculptors. At this time he created the statue of Ralph De Stafford the first Earl and a founder member of the Order of the Garter . The  statue still stands on display at the castle .

For many years  he  worked independently  on  public commissions and developing his own body of work. He created  a brick sculpture in commemoration  of the Cunard  White Star liners that sailed from Southampton docks and the 'Welcome'  statue sculpted  in 2011.

Some of Andrew's  more  recent work  was created at Madame Tussauds in London. His detailed and naturalistic approach has gained him  acclaim ,included portraits on Fredrick Douglass the  American women's rights activist  and Jimi Hendrix the  iconic rock musician .
